The aprons placed on the floor and used as carpets on witch to sit refer both to domestic work and to the oppression suffered, especially by women living in the countries of the Global South.
In the centre of the apron, a hole emerges reminiscent of the 'Chemise cagoule', a nightgown with a hole and the words 'God wills it', created solely for chaste procreation. Although the nightgown with the so-called 'Parisian opening' no longer exists, the sexual act is still experienced as a duty by many women around the world, in addition to initiation rites that endanger their health, genital mutilation, trafficking of women and forced prostitution.
