To each item of clothing purchased corresponds a one-dollar note, the edge of which has been crocheted. The tag price attached illustrates to the price of the dress I bought and also fixes the price of the work. It represents a disturbing element because it is the only mark that differentiates the works from each other. “My Clothes Cost One Dollar” contrasts the rules that determine the art market, because although the works are "multiples", each work was attributed a different price.
