Nowadays clothes are sold at giveaway prices and this encourages and promotes the impulsive buying of unnecessary clothing. The obscene amount of clothes we buy has serious implications for the environment, not only in the production stage, but also after the purchase. The clothing industry is the second largest polluter in the world, second only to oil.

In this exhibition, the clothes used to embellish our bodies have been undone, reworked and used to imprison both our bodies and the exhibition space in a state of immobility.
