Pleasure and pain, present and past, are intertwined in this video-installation.
Shards of bottles and glasses scattered over part of the floor refer to a violent action, defining a precarious present state and contrasting with the video scenes that allude to the anticipation of a moment of pleasure, escape and hope, that is, to a reality which has yet to manifest itself.
The work explores the ways in which individuals can achieve balance and happiness through freedom from desire.
